NY foto diary

We had a week of vacation in New York state last week. We road tripped Upstate to Lake Placid for a good friends wedding and then the remainder of the week in the city. 

We typically will go to a wedding on a Friday and come home that same Sunday or Monday. I am so happy we chose to turn this wedding weekend into a full fledged weeklong trip!

It was technically Mario's second trip to NY as he went at 13 months old during a snow storm when he tagged along on a trip with me for work. 

This time around we did not have much planned. I put three big things on our 'to do' list and we figured out what made sense each day. #1 Natural History Museum #2 Statue of Liberty #3 The Color Factory. We fit in playdates at the park, coffees, a little shopping, dinners out and visits with family in between. 

Hope you enjoyed this little dive into the NY pics. I take so many damn pics on my phone that these little collages have turned into a great place to pour out the fotos and give them a life beyond my camera roll.

For those of you curious about Color Factory, pictured right above, it was SO MUCH FUN. Exploratory, immersive and unique.
