FLOWERS duh, always a winner. If you go the grocery store route do us all a favor and take it out of the packaging that came from the store. Put them in a vase and trim the ends if you are up for it. If you are in Portland I cannot recommend Fieldwork enough. Megan puts together bouquets with so much personality they will bring you and your family joy for days. She just started shipping nationwide so you have that option too for mom’s who are out of town. Visit Fieldwork to explore and shop. She offers delivery & no contact pick up on saturdays.
BOOKS Local art gallery and bookstore Nationale offers curbside pickup of their diverse offering of books. I recently picked up the a book of essays by Zadie Smith and the Instant Journal by Mia Nolting, an interactive journal with some prompts. Excited to participate. FASHION Yo Store is a lovely shop with nearly everything and anything a mom could want. Cute socks, check. Yummy candles, check. Glam vintage finds, check. Really they have it all. Sarah is mom to two and does a wonderful job curating a shop full of unique and charming finds. Yo offers no contact delivery too.
ART last but not least surprise the mom in your house with some art by the little people she has devoted so much time to. Painted hand prints accompanied by a green line immediately become cute little flowers that you can present to mom, any sort of art by her baby will definitely go a long way.
